Oklahoma City Alumnae Chapter History

Since its founding, the Oklahoma City Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta has been a vibrant and enduring community of women united by a shared commitment to scholarship, service, leadership, and sisterhood.

Rooted in the values established in 1870, when Kappa Alpha Theta became the first Greek-letter fraternity for women, the Oklahoma City alumnae chapter has carried forward a legacy of empowering women to make a meaningful impact in their communities. Over the decades, Theta alumnae in Oklahoma City have cultivated a strong network that fosters lifelong friendships while supporting both local initiatives and the broader mission of the Fraternity.

The chapter has played an active role in advancing philanthropy, particularly through its longstanding support of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), reflecting Theta’s national dedication to the protection and well-being of children. Through volunteerism, fundraising efforts, and advocacy, Oklahoma City alumnae have made a tangible difference in the lives of those they serve.

Today, the Oklahoma City Alumnae Chapter stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of Theta—bringing together women of all ages and backgrounds who are dedicated to friendship, leadership, and making a lasting impact.
